I am committed and passionate about helping people and organisations achieve their highest potential through knowledge and best practices, and have gained significant experience in the area of Corporate Responsibility and Community Investment.  With a financial services and customer service background spanning nearly 30 years I have held positions including Head of Corporate Responsibility for Standard Life plc, and Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Services Skills Council. 

 

I have practical experience of developing, aligning and integrating corporate strategy and community investment programmes to deliver sustainable partnerships.  As a regular public speaker, I have engaged with audiences across several continents on this subject and participated in national policy debates.

 

Educated both in the UK and on the continent, I have over 20 years experience of being involved in the local and wider community.  I am a Director of several charitable foundations (local and international) and currently a Non Executive Director of Waverly Care and member of the Scottish Development Advisory Group at Place2Be.
