Account Relationship Manager

I joined SBC as Account Relationship Manager August 2007. My appointment followed a career as a Project Manager with a high end German manufacturer. Like many others at SBC I had become frustrated with the often exclusive focus on capital gain at the neglect of our responsibility as corporate citizens.
My role is somewhat of a ‘conductor’ with my goal being to help all parts of our member companies incorporate CSR into their operation, working to ensure understanding and integration across their organisation.
I believe Scottish businesses are becoming increasingly aware that being a responsible business and having a strategic responsibility programme is not only the right thing to do, but also it is the right business thing to do.
I am proud to be part this organisation at such an exciting time, when Scottish businesses are in such a good position to be able to put CSR at their core and embrace a new way of doing business.
