Michelle has worked at SSE for over 5 years and joined the company after gaining over 10 years’ experience of economic development in the public sector, while working for Scottish Enterprise.
Her current responsibilities at SSE involve directing a wide range of operational support services such as Transport, Facilities, Property and Estate Management. In addition to this Michelle is responsible for driving forward the development of Innovation and Research and Development across the whole of SSE.
Michelle holds a Ph.D, MBA and is a Professional Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply. SSE is Scotland’s second largest FT-SE 100 company by market capitalisation (based on 31 December 2009).
