The challenges we face now, and opportunities of the future are interconnected, therefore so must be our approach to solving them. Working across sectors, up and down the supply chain and with a wide variety of partners is necessary, and advantageous. A fundamental role of SBC is brokering relationships between partners in all sectors:

-  Our members , mostly private sector businesses,  
-  The Scottish, UK, and EU governments, at policy and delivery level. 
-  The 3rd sector. 

SBC’s role is to help ensure that partnerships are effective and produce real benefits to all.
