Scottish Business in the Community hosted their annual Celebration Dinner on Thursday 2 June 2011 at The George Hotel in Edinburgh.

The Celebration Dinner recognised the achievements of our members, partners and some of Scotland’s most prominent businesses, as we work towards creating a sustainable Scottish economy.  Highlights at the dinner included the announcement of the UK Awards for Excellence Scotland, The Employee Volunteer of the Year Award, HRH Ambassador of the Year Award and the SBC Large and SME Company of the Year Awards.

Scottish Business in the Community’s Awards for Excellence is the UK’s most influential
awards recognising leadership and innovation in responsible business. The Awards are now in their fourteenth year and have become hugely prestigious and are considered the
ultimate accolade by winning companies for their corporate responsibility activity.

Rigorously assessed and independently assured, they provide recognition for companies that are integrating responsible business practice and delivering positive impacts on the environment, in the marketplace, in the workplace and in the community.
