Seeing is Believing

The Prince's Seeing is Believing programme is about closing the gap between the boardroom and the community. The programme was born in 1990 from a simple but powerful idea: to help business leaders see for themselves what a difference responsible business can make.

HRH The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay visited Craigroyston High School on  Wednesday 9 May as part of Scottish Business in the Community (SBC) 30th Anniversary celebrations.

Along with representatives of the City of Edinburgh and Lloyds Banking Group, The Duke of Rothesay, president of SBC, joined business leaders from across the country as part of Seeing is Believing, a national programme encouraging business interaction with local schools.

The Prince’s ‘Seeing is Believing’ is a UK-wide programme providing insight into the social and environmental issues most relevant to communities and businesses.

Through a series of unique visits, delivered in Scotland by SBC, the programme aims to challenge, inspire and engage top business leaders. Since its launch in 1990, over 550 leaders have participated every year nationwide.

The Prince's Seeing is Believing provides a powerful personal experience and ensures responsible business is recognised as integral to successful business behaviour. Each event involves visits to community projects, schools or prisons, hosted by a senior business leader on behalf of HRH The Prince of Wales.

Today, it is a recognised responsible leadership network counting over 8,000 alumni and hundreds of participants every year, because leading responsible buisness has never been more important.
