Healthy Working Lives
Reducing worklessness and improving the nations health is a key priority for SBC, our members and the Scottish Government.
There is a very clear link between health and work. Evidence shows that work can be therapeutic and help reverse the adverse health effects of unemployment. SBC and our members subsequently recgonise that Scotland’s future depends on improving assess to work for individuals who are at a distance from the labour market.
Scottish Business in the Community is working in partnership with the Scottish Centre for Healthy Working Lives to help reduce inequality and improve the nation’s health by encouraging and supporting our members and businesses to engage with the employability agenda.
