The online communications tool for business

What is it?

The Envirowheel is a communications tool designed to simplify and consolidate a broad range of information into one single, accessible online portal. Created to deal with a range of content, this dynamic tool is completely flexible and can be developed to cater for the bespoke needs of organisations that want a more simple and effective way of engaging with their employees, customers or stakeholders.

We live in an age information technology, and yet, with all the technological advances we have made, businesses, customers and employees are finding it more and more difficult to identify the information that is most relevant to them. Your internal and external stakeholders are very likely oversubscribed to information and may therefore not be engaging with the messages that are most important to you and your business.

The Envirowheel cuts through that, creating a simple mechanism whereby individuals can easily access key points on a range of topics from a single source. Clear, concise and interactive, the Envirowheel is an engaging tool that ensures your messages are simple to interpret, relevant to the end user, and remain fresh and current in a changing business environment.

Where did it come from?

Created by Scottish Business in the Community the wheel was originally created in physical form and was designed to help businesses access the most relevant environmental support along the key themes contained within the Scottish Government’s Climate Change Delivery Plan.

The success of the initial wheel was overwhelming, with over 2,000 of these wheels sent out in the first few months to businesses. As a result of this, with support from BT and the 2020 Climate Group, we developed an online version. This has been instrumental in supporting SMEs access the plethora of environment support in Scotland.

Where does it work best?

The wheel is designed to communicate a number of messages, along key themes to a wide audience. These messages can further be enhanced through a drop down box, which can be updated regularly to reflect changes in the business, and contains further information signposting users to additional online support, documents or websites that are relevant to that message.

How much does it cost?

Our costs vary between:

The most basic package

• We provide a template which you fill out and which is then used to populate the wheel.
• Additional changes are costed as and when they are made

The comprehensive package

• We work with you to define the key areas and key messages
• We are able to make a set number of changes
• You receive a set number of free updates, at which changes can be made to update the content at no additional cost

Costs typically vary between £2,500 and £10,000, however, these costs vary according to business needs so please give us a ring and once we have ascertained your business requirements, we will be able to put together a package to suit your needs.

Financing mechanisms can also be put in place whereby a basic amount can be paid which can thenbe topped up based on the success of your wheel. This will ensure maximum value for money for you.
