Climage Change Business Delivery Group
AIM, INFLUENCE, ACHIEVE AND DELIVER on climage change and carbon reduction for businesses.
The Climage Change Business Delivery Group (CCBDG) was set up in 2007 to provide strong and visible leadership to Scotland’s business community, to inspire them to do more to reduce their carbon emissions and to tackle climate change.
The Scottish Government has set world leading emission reduction targets (80% by 2050 and significantly, 42% by 2020). The business sector can and will play a significant role in achieving these targets.
The group comprises of business leaders from key sectors of the Scottish economy. Sectors included are: energy, communication and postal services, banking and finance, leisure and hospitality, retail, distilleries, waste management, construction and all of the major transport and travel services.
