CARES

Cares is a UK wide campaign that mobilises businesses and employees to address social issues in communities most in need through volunteering. More than 400 companies support city-based and regional Cares partnerships across the UK.

cares video image.jpgSBC’s Cares programme supports companies in the development, management and delivery of employee supported volunteering (ESV). We have run events from 6 to 600 people, brokered long term partnerships and supported organisations large and small with developing and growing employee volunteering.

The range of volunteering opportunities is diverse, from improving literacy and numeracy in primary schools to getting involved with our environmental initiatives.  Businesses can join a local group of socially responsible companies working collaboratively to tackle disadvantage.
