British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB) is the operator of the UK’s largest digital pay television platform is in over nine million homes and offers over 500 TV and radio channels. BSkyB also provides UK broadband and telephony services. They have 14 offices in the UK and Ireland, with three in Scotland. BSkyB has over 16,000 employees.
What
Working with a variety of partners BSkyB provides volunteering opportunities for teams and individuals. The BSkyB Make a Difference programme allows BSkyB employees to get involved with their local community and support the charities and groups they care about. The initiative supports staff to volunteer their time, fundraise and payroll give. BSkyB provides matched funding for any employee activity.
Additionally this year BSkyB developed a diversity strategy to focus their approach on two groups, women and ethnic minorities.
