Environment: Don't waste your chance to make a difference

NEARLY 90 per cent of people who recycle waste products in the Lothians are happy with the facilities available, but many still want to be able to do more to recycle plastic, food scraps and even batteries.
In a specially-commissioned survey by the Evening News, it was revealed that 94 per cent thought that it was important to take positive personal action to help protect the environment, including recycling, with almost 90 per cent believing thathuman actions are to blame for global warming.
