Cunninghame Housing Association

Cunninghame Housing Association Ltd was founded in 1984, has over 2,000 properties in management, (and growing) and is the largest housing association in Ayrshire. With headquarters in the seaside town of Ardrossan, situated on the west coast of North Ayrshire, our geographic areas of operation are to be found in the local authority areas of North and East Ayrshire.

A member of the scottish federation of housing Associations and registered with Communities Scotland (formerly Scottish Homes) we are a not-for-profit friendly society under the industrial & provident Societies Act 1965. We are run by a voluntary management Committee of 16 members and currently employ 67 Staff.

To cope with a significant increase in staff numbers, we obtained the premesis next door to our Ardrossan office in 2002 and added these to our existing office, creating spacious and comfortable office accommodation for our staff.

In addition, the office houses two large conference rooms which can be amalgamated to form one conference suite and these have been hired out to partner organisations who have been delighted with the quality of accommodation on offer.

April 2000 saw us diversifying into the supported housing field with the introduction of the Victoria House project in Irvine which specialises in the provision of accomodation for homeless persons. The centre has 26 rooms and boasts a highly skilled staff who are on hand 24 hours a day to assist the occupants.
