Anderson Strathern have established as a themselves as a dynamic and progressive 21st Century law firm in the vanguard of client-focused legal services delivery throughout Scotland. In May 2005 Robert Carr became the new Chairman with a mandate to establish Anderson Strathern as the best full service law firm in Scotland. He is committed to the goals set by the partnership to provide an even more consistent and even better value service to all clients, to attract new business to the firm and to maximise the potential of all its people.

At the 2006 Scottish Legal Awards the firm won Client Team of the Year for its unique multidisciplinary work on the Stirling to Alloa and Kincardine railway and linked improvements project. Anderson Strathern now have six lawyers who are dual qualified in Scotland and in England and Wales, responding to clients' expectations that in larger deals the firm will have the capacity to complete transactional matters on a UK-wide basis. As part of the delivery of its strategic plan and as a direct response to clients' needs in the liability insurance sector Anderson Strathern opened an office in Glasgow in October 2005.
