Dell

  • Dell was established in the UK in 1987, initially to sell and manufacture desktop PCs for the UK market. Since this time, it has introduced a range of hardware, systems integration and third party software, preinstalled on equipment purchased directly from Dell, plus peripheral products. Dell complements its product offering with a complete range of services. Headed up by Josh Claman, President and General Manager Dell UK and Ireland, Dell's customer base includes large corporate and public sector customers (including Newcastle City Council, Middlesex University, Honeywell and Axa), in addition to medium and small UK businesses, and consumers.
  • Both its UK and EMEA headquarters (Europe, Middle East and Africa) are based in Bracknell, Berkshire, employing over 1,500 staff.
  • Additionally, the UK market is supported by operations in Ireland, Scotland and India

    • The UK is critical to the success of Dell in Europe. It is the second largest European market with a strong and growing customer base.
    • Dell UK aims to further expand through the delivery of even better service and support to its customers, in addition to growing its server, storage and services businesses.
    • The UK was the first country Dell launched in after the US and since this time it has established itself as the largest business for the company outside the US.
