Halcrow staff raise Cash for Kids

26 Jan, 2009.

With record numbers at the Halcrow Christmas lunch thanks to a rise in recruitment, the big hearted company decided to host a one-off raffle with all proceeds going straight to Cash for Kids.

A grand total of £968 was raised by raffle ticket sales with donated prizes, including a Chris Hoy signed Great Britain Cycling top, during the lunch held at Halcrow’s City Park offices in Glasgow.

Donald Bell, regional director for Halcrow in Glasgow said:

“It was a tremendous effort by “Team Halcrow” and we are delighted to be able to hand over a cheque to such a worthy cause.

“Some of the prizes on offer really were special, from a digital camera to a food hamper and unique items like the Chris Hoy signed shirt.

“I’d like to say thanks to all the staff that attended the lunch and took part in the raffle – especially those who donated prizes- , as well as those who did such a great job of organising the event.”
