Napier launches Institute of Leadership & Management
23 Apr 2008
Napier University Business School is officially launching the Edinburgh Institute of Leadership and Management Practice on June 17, 2008. The launch will centre on a panel of four Scottish leaders and the ‘Leadership Challenges in Scotland – past, present and future’.
The Institute will shape the leaders of tomorrow into true authentic leaders associated with sincerity, honest and integrity who can retain their distinctiveness as individuals, but are able to adapt to the corporate and social cultures.
The Edinburgh Institute will act as a nexus of strategic learning partnerships between leaders, practitioners and academics in the private and public sectors, to work with our partners and clients to:
- Develop confident, high performing leaders and managers
- Enhance individuals' employability and career development
- Share and develop effective, responsible, ethical and sustainable attitudes, skills and behaviours
- Contribute to individuals' organisational development
It will offer a range of courses in the fields of leadership and management practice. Courses available vary in duration and level but will predominantly focus on Masters level provision. All of the courses can be customised and contextualised to meet the specific needs of organisations.
If you would like to know more about the Edinburgh Institute and what it is doing to develop leadership in Scotland, please contact Leslie Leggett on 0131 455 4377 to arrange a meeting with the Director or to be sent more information.
