HBOS in global list of sustainable companies

HBOS is one of just two UK banks to achieve a rank in the 2008 Global 100 list of the world's most sustainable companies.

The Global 100 (G100) covers businesses from 16 countries. The list is announced each year at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

The results are compiled from research put together by Innovest, an investment advisory company.
HBOS is still the only UK bank to have appeared on the list each year since its inception four years ago
