HBOS CommunityMark win

HBOS has been awarded the Community Mark, a prestigious national standard that recognises pioneering corporate investors in the community.

Launched by Business in the Community, the Mark recognises HBOS's sponsorship, financial inclusion, charitable and volunteering activity.

Over 100 colleagues and many of HBOS's community partners took part in the rigorous application process.  

HBOS invested £55.2m in communities across the UK in 2007.  Areas of support include financial inclusion, sponsorship of sports and arts for young people, and donations through the HBOS Foundation.  In 2007, over 10,000 HBOS colleagues volunteered.
