EICC Annual Street-Up

Street Clean-Up is our opportunity to raise awareness of the public, businesses, local residents, tourists and the wider community  to help us keep Edinburgh clean.  This initiative is good for the business and local economy, the environment and the society.

Members of the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) Green Team hope that their actions will show the rest of the community how big an issue litter has become – and that dropping it is not acceptable.

Not only do littered streets damage business and tourism opportunities but it also costs Scottish Council taxpayers £65 million a year to clean them.

Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) Annual Spring Clean took place on Friday, 4 April 2008 in conjunction with the City of Edinburgh Council - Keep Edinburgh Clean (KEC) and Keep ScotlandBeautiful (KSB) initiatives.
