The Enterprising Solutions Awards 07 are designed to find the UK’s most dynamic and innovative organisations which trade on the market to solve social and environmental problems.

Social enterprises are profit-making businesses which put the majority of their profits towards their social or environmental goals. Well known examples of social enterprises include The Big Issue, Cafédirect and Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen.

Fifteen social enterprises were shortlisted for the awards and five won prizes at the ceremony, held at the V&A in London on Wednesday 17th October. One of these winners was SBC member company, Haven Products.

Haven provides employment opportunities for disabled people in a range of areas, from packaging to component assembly to print finishing. Haven offers services to companies looking to outsource their production processes and has an impressive client list ranging from international blue chip firms to local companies.
