This is the first session of SBC 's new training programme. This training is suitable for people from all sectors, and all areas of a business, who have a role to play in responsible business practice in Scotland.

COURSE OBJECTIVE:

To develop an understanding of:

  • What is Corporate Responsibility
  • The context in which CR sits in today's business
  • The benefits of CR in your organisation
  • How to integrate CR into everyday business practice
TARGET AUDIENCE: For people who have CR as part of their everyday role, or for people who have an interest in devloping CR within their business unit or company.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
  • Particpants will be able to relate the key elements of CSR to colleagues in the workplace
  • Participants will be able to demonstrate the business benefits to colleagues and decision makers within the organisation
  • Partcipants will have practical ways of incpororating CR commitments into their business plans or processes.
