SBC Cares will be running a series of Working lunches designed to support companies new to volunteering, or managers within established volunteering companies who are new to role. The event will also be suitable for divisional / middle managers who want to learn more about how to attract volunteers to existing programmes. The first lunch, on 17th September, will comprise 45 minute presentation from SBC and 45 mins questions and sharing of experiences around the table.

The venue for the event is unusual, we will be using Re-union Canals brand new barge facility (LINK). Re-Union Canal Boats is a social enterprise that hires out a canal boat on Edinburgh's Union Canal for staff away days, events, training, conferences and community activities.

The event starts at 12 and the boat begins a short trip at 1230. Lunch will be provided.

Costs:

SBC Members: Free

Non-Members: £75 + VAT

Not-for-Profit/Charity: £50 + VAT
