CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme - 20 April 2010
The Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) is a new mandatory carbon trading scheme that will affect large public and private organisations from April 2010. The aim is to encourage energy efficiency and CO2 savings by providing a financial incentive to reduce emissions. This will in turn raise awareness within large organisations, driving change in behaviour and improved business practices.

Participation in CRC will be a legal requirement if you had a total half hourly electricity consumption of at least 6,000 megawatt-hours in 2008. Before the legislation comes into effect, there are a number of ways you'll need to prepare.
This morning seminar will offer practical advice to help you comply with the upcoming regulations and adapt your business plans to take account of these imminent changes. A range of presenters will provide guidance on the environmental, financial and regulatory implications of the CRC and provide an expert panel so that you can find the answers to your specific questions.
